Hello, I'm Reid Mason!
Welcome to my website, where I hope you'll visit time and time again.
I've been a creative person my entire life, so photography came to me naturally. I shot film for years, then stepped off in to digital when I felt the quality was at a point where I couldn't tell the difference between film and digital. Since I'd already been manipulating my film images on computer, digital streamlined the project significantly.
I had been shooting professionally on the west coast for decades but I recently to a small town near Bridgeport, West Virginia. to get out of the hustle and bustle of the big city. I presently serve the mid-Atlantic area including: Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and West Virginia.
I shoot with the highest quality Canon cameras and lenses. They provide me with what I feel is unparalleled flexibility. The Canon interface feels transparent to me, and allows me to interact nd connect with my subjects deeply, so that I can bring out the best in them! its' typically those images that are not posed, but between posed shots that end up showing the true nature and emotion of my subjects.
Speaking of clients, over the years I’ve worked to cultivate a great reputation with, and have a long list of referrals that I can supply you so you can hear firsthand the kind of experience they had working with me. I am very proud that almost 90% of my new clients come from referrals!
